Important — Pay Upfront

AXA PPP Healthcare does not register individual podiatrists on their network. All AXA PPP patients must pay the clinic upfront and claim reimbursement directly from AXA PPP using the itemised invoice we provide at the end of your consultation.

Before your appointment

What You Need to Do

Contact AXA PPP Healthcare on 0800 068 8684 or log into your AXA Health member account to confirm your podiatry cover and obtain a pre-authorisation number before attending
Check your policy for any excess and confirm your level of cover — reimbursement amounts vary by plan
AXA PPP may require a GP or Consultant referral before approving treatment — check your specific policy
AXA PPP does not cover orthotics, dressings, or medications — these are charged separately and your podiatrist will discuss costs during your appointment
It is your responsibility to confirm coverage before attending — The Functional Podiatrist cannot contact AXA PPP on your behalf
If AXA PPP does not cover your fees, The Functional Podiatrist will invoice you directly — payable within 14 days

Contact AXA PPP before your appointment

Call 0800 068 8684 or log into your AXA Health member account to obtain a pre-authorisation number and confirm your level of cover.

Attend your appointment and pay the clinic

Pay for your consultation in full at the end of your appointment. We accept all major credit and debit cards.

Collect your itemised invoice

We provide a full itemised invoice at the end of every consultation. This includes the treatment description, date, clinic address, and practitioner details — everything AXA PPP needs to process your claim.

Submit your claim to AXA PPP

Submit your claim via your AXA Health member account online or by post with your invoice and authorisation number. AXA PPP will reimburse you directly according to your plan's terms.
